Training goals raise care questions

The name covers a kind of substance. It does not tell you what condition a treatment is meant to address.

What do the words on an offer mean?

Peptide
A small chain formed by joining protein building blocks is called a peptide.
Telehealth
Telehealth discussions about care can use a phone, a screen, or messages exchanged online.
Compounded medicine
When medicine is prepared to order instead of supplied as a ready-made drug product, that process is called compounding.
FDA approval
A particular use and a specific drug product are what the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reviews.

Are any peptides approved medicines?

As of September 2026, semaglutide has FDA-approved products in the US under the names Ozempic and Wegovy.

Tirzepatide also has approved US products, called Mounjaro and Zepbound.

Those approvals concern specific products. Ask for the full medicine name. Ask whether the offer is a shot, a tablet, or another form.

Does a made-to-order version have the same review?

In September 2026, medicines prepared by compounding are not FDA-approved. Before these medicines are marketed, FDA does not review how well they work, their safety, or their quality.
